Teaching
When I first witnessed the power I could instill in someone by sharing, I was working on a volunteer renovation project for Harvest House. I taught a sixteen year old young man the proper method to reading a tape measure. He responded enthusiastically, using his new-found knowledge to help whomever needed his assistance. Passing on what knowledge we have is truly a gift, a gift which pays dividends to both the teacher and student. The excitement in the face of someone who learns a new skill is so much fun to see.
